Description
Holothele longipes is a rainforest tarantula native to several countries in north-central South America. One of them gave its name to the ‘Trinidad pink dwarf.’
In captivity, H. longipes spiderlings thrive at room temperature (68-72F/20-22C) and slightly elevated humidity (75-90% RH). It is a fast moving spider so have a catch cup ready. Fortunately they aren’t defensive. Females mature sexually at 3 inches.
