Description
Listed for sale is a juvenile female Spinosatibiapalpus sp. “Colombia,” the yellow-blue dwarf.
Hobbyists have asked whether the yellow and blue (purplish blue) of S. sp. “Colombia” is really as intense as shown in photos. The answer is yes. Not only that, the color stays vibrant throughout the molt cycle. In this juvenile female the purplish blue is well-developed. She’ll need a molt or two before the yellow intensifies.
Females reach adulthood at about 3 inches but grow a bit larger, shy of 4 inches.
We suggest keeping this juvenile female on slightly dampened to slightly dry substrate. Ventilate conservatively so as to allow a bit of humidity to build. Room temperature (68-72F) is fine. Warmer is okay, to 80F for example, but don’t let things dry out. As this female approaches maturity you can reduce enclosure moisture. A water dish will provide a margin of safety.

Care highlights:
- slightly dampened to slightly dry substrate
- modestly elevated humidity +/- water dish support
- room temperature (68-72F) up to 80F
- an opportunistic burrower, consider a hide
- consider forest litter and plantings for enrichment
